Horses need new home...

I don't usually do this but I have a friend who needs to sell her horses so I thought maybe I would try and help with a blog post. I also no nothing about these breedable horses either, so I won't be able to give much input. These horses all need to go today as she cannot aford to keep feeding them, so come try and give them a home if you are interested.

New projects soon

Well I have not posted in over a month so just thought I would give a few updates. I am about to begin working on some new small little projects and hope to release something soon. Been busy with work and just have not had much time or desire to work on anything in SL in my free time. I do look forward to getting to work and learning more about making good custom sculpts. So expect something one of a kind if I get it to the point that I feel is of a high enough quality.

In other news I saw this video on youtube from The Guild and even though Second Life is not a typical MMORPG I still thought it was funny and could still fit in with SL a bit. St. Patrick's Sale!

A mall I rent at is having a special St. Patrick's Day Sale that as the picture shows will last from March 12th until the 21st.

The sale has at least 12 stores that I counted (could be more if I missed any, or if people were slow in setting up for the sale), and several stores have more than one item set to be 50% off of the regular price. I alone have 11 items set up for the sale and after the 50% off they range from 38L to 138L. The items that are on sale are very easy to see and have a green frame with a three leaf clover on the corner of it. Most of the stores and kiosks also have a copy of the sign shown here in my blog out in front of their store to show that they are participating.

Well, I am trying something to see if it will help me get any sales. I made my Naku Necklace a homepage featured item on xstreet for 30 days. This is my first time trying this and it is a lot of money to spend on an experiment. I really hope it does well, and if it does I will consider doing it again. I think it was a good necklace, and it is only 125L. I really think it has a good chance of selling well at that price. Hopefully I'll get enough to at least get the money back that I spent on making the ad. Wish me luck =P.

Koro Necklace

I admit I lack a lot in the men's item department, and felt like I should try and fix that issue. I actually created this necklace after watching an episode of Psych, and say a necklace like this worn by the main character. So I made my own version here in SL and added a few extra things like a small clasp visible from the front. Just a small detail that I feel helps it to stand out a bit more.

In making this item I also created my own textures for the beads to make them look a bit more realistic. They have shading that makes it look darker on the sides not facing the light and flows nicely around the body. I love doing the small details that most people will probably never see, even if it is a more simple looking item like this.

This item comes with no mod, copy, and no transfer. To make up for its lack of mod permissions it has an included resize system that allows it to change in increments of 1%, 5%, or 10%.

This item is available at both my store in world at this SLurl, and on xstreet. The price I have set them to is 125L. Now I shall get back to my work of learning more on how to do sculpts in SL, wish me luck =P.

Naku Necklace

This is a set of two necklaces. The top necklace is made up of smalls sculpted stones and beads. The bottom is made up of sculpted chain links. All parts are textured with custom made textures. Shadows are also added to make the outside facing prims lighter looking than the inside ones to emulate realistic light patterns.

This item comes with no mod, copy, and no transfer. To make up for its lack of mod permissions it has an included resize system that allows it to change in increments of 1%, 5%, or 10%.

This item is now available at my store in SL at this SLurl, and on xstreet. This item is also being sold for only 175L right now for a limited time. I hope everyone likes it, as I enjoyed making it.

Basic Black Pearls

I was experimenting and trying to make a good looking pearl texture, and I think I was able to make one I liked. I then used it to make this black pearl necklace. This item is made up of nano prims that are able to go down to 1/3 the size of a standard prim sphere at its smallest settings. This item is now available at my store at this SLurl, and at the price of only 50L.

I got a bit of a sweet tooth lately and made two items based on the little candy necklaces and such that many have probably had at some point to eat. Each of these items are currently available in my new store location at this SLurl, and will be put up on Xstreet in the future.

The first one here the CaNdy CoRD? is a necklace that comes with sculpted candies and a sculpted string that runs through the candies. The candies are also nicely textures to show shadows and help define the shape of the candies even more.

The second item, this CaNdy CHew! is a smaller ring of candies that has a few eaten and the rest hanging from the mouth on the string. This item has the same size candies and style as the Candy necklace above, and has a sculpted string that would otherwise not be possible without the use of the sculpts.

Each of these items comes with No Mod, Copy, and No Transfer Permissions. They each also come with resize scripts that will allow them to change in increments of 1%, 5%, or 10%. They will also self delete if placed on the ground and lost. These items really have had a lot of care put into them and are very reasonably priced. The CaNdy Chew! is 55L and the CaNdy CoRD? is 95L, this would make the set a reasonable 150L. I really love how these items turned out.

Relentless Unknown Moved

Relentless Unknown has of today moved to a new location. Sorry for how sudden this move is. We rented from the same group, so they were able to transfer our rent from the old land to the new, so while a month was left on current land it is all on the new land now. So I had to clear the land before midday today. I am just about done with the cleaning out and the store is up and running on the new spot.

The new location can be found at this SLurl. Sorry for the trouble of the move, and killing all the old LMs that may have been made to the old location. This new location will also be the spot that will be on the shoes and accessories hunt, which starts in a few days. I am looking forward to the hunt very much, and am glad that I was able to get this move done in time for it to start.

Heart Necklace

Two days ago I released my Divinity Necklace, and my partner recommended that I make one with a heart on it instead of a cross, because she is not a cross person. One of her recommendations was that of a heart, so I made this version of the necklace. This item contains all the same sculpted necklaces from the previous release, but with just the heart instead. I also have the heart scripted so that it can be changed to one of various different color choices all though a drop down menu when the heart is clicked.

This item is now available in both SL at my store Relentless Unknown, and on Xstreet. It comes with no mod, copy, and no transfer permissions. Included is a resize system that allows it to change in size by increments of 1%, 5%, or 10%. I also have it set to self delete if accidentally put on the ground as to keep people from losing it, and having it take up large amounts of prims.

Divinity Necklace

My first new release of the new year, and was a fun little experiment. This item is a set of three different necklaces. The smallest necklace is a combination of a cord and chain necklace. The medium necklace is all chain, and the longest is a cord with a small cross hanging from it.

This item is now available in both SL at my store Relentless Unknown, and on Xstreet. It comes with no mod, copy, and no transfer permissions. Included is a resize system that allows it to change in size by increments of 1%, 5%, or 10%. I also have it set to self delete if accidentally put on the ground as to keep people from losing it, and having it take up large amounts of prims. Rangiku Necklace

This item is modeled mostly after the necklace wont by Rangiku from the manga, and anime Bleach. It is a darker shade to match that of the one she wears in the series. The links are all square shaped sculpted prim, and are nicely textured. The chain also has a medium shine added to it to look more metallic.

One place that is different from the necklace worn in the series is the weight on the end that is a black wood with a low shine to it with metal details added. In the series the chain just goes down between her boobs, and the end is not visible. So this chain is available with and without the end item showing.

This item comes with no mod, copy, no transfer permissions. A scripted resize system is used that will change the whole necklaces size in increments of 1%, 5%, or 10%. The item is able to make the loose weight on the end of the chain to be visible or not visible through the use of chat commands on channel 7. The commands are/7show and /7hide.

The Rangiku Necklace is now available at my store located at this SLurl, and at this location on Xstreet.

Ring Necklace

I know this is not an original style necklace as many others have done this sort of thing, but I added a few things I think make it a bit different. The way the ring is on the chain is a bit different, and the chain is very nicely done. The ring itself is made of a dark wood, with a low shine to it, and the chain is textured with a medium chine.

This item comes with no mod, copy, no transfer permissions. A scripted resize system is used that will change the whole necklaces size in increments of 1%, 5%, or 10%. The ring is also scripted to change to one of three sizes through chat commands on channel 7. These commands are /7small, /7medium, and /7large. This item is now available at Relentless Unknown in SL.

I am also preparing to remodel my store again to allow for more clear sections for selling shapes, and a photography studio run by my partner. I am also looking into adding a scripted store system that will allow my no transfer items to be sold and sent as gifts. Lots of work to do, and such little time to do it all.

Samurai Hair Sticks

Over the past few days I have been experimenting with many different things. One of them has been making new necklace chains, and some detailed beads to use in other items. Unfortunately they are not perfect enough for me, and have not fit into the vision I have in my head, so they sit uncompleted. I did however want to make some hair sticks for my hair, and this is what I came up with.

These hair sticks come in two versions. One has a chain connecting the two sticks together, and the other is two sticks that each attach to separate locations to allow them to be easily moved into whatever orientation desired. This item also comes with Mod, Copy, No Transfer permissions. These permissions will make it easy to adjust textures, and the shine on the item. These hair sticks can also be added to most hair, because hair usually use the same permissions. Of course these items will not look good with all hair styles, and may require some moving to get them to fit the hair used.

This Item is available in SL at Relentless Unknown. Hope to perfect my other ideas soon, and have more new items in the coming weeks.

Store Xstreet Updates

Before I forget to do this with the planed changes to Xstreet in the future I have removed my only freebie from the service. My Glow Eyes are still available in my store in world however for the price of free. Again, I am sorry to do that change. For the time being though all my items are still up on the service until an actual date is set for the price increases to use Xstreet. At that date I will probably have to remove much of my older inventory, and just keep more recent items up. All other items will still be available in my store Relentless Unknown.

I have added my Analog Necklace up on Xstreet today. Just didn't get around to doing it yesterday when I announced its release. It is like all my other items the same price on Xstreet as it is in my store in world. Of course I would prefer for it to be purchased from the store in world, but Xstreet is the only way for much of my items to be sent as gifts to other people due to no transfer.

Analog Necklace & SAH

I released a new item today that is currently only available at my store in world until I get it up on Xstreet. This item uses the same necklace band as my Serenity Necklace, but has a whole new item hanging from it. I did this because I liked the necklace band, and felt it could be used in another item to give a bit more variety.

The clock on the necklace is fully functional, and keeps track of SL time like all my other watches in SL. Only difference is that instead of using a typical watch face it has three dials that rotate to the time, and would display time much like that of a digital watch. This is a unique idea I think in SL, and one that I believe has never been done ever before. This is highly detailed, very small, and impressive to see hanging from a necklace.

This item is available in SL at Relentless Unknown, and comes with no mod, copy, and no transfer permissions. Comes with a resize script to allow for changes of 1%, 5%, and 10% increments. Also will self delete if accidentally placed on the ground, and sorry but this is done to also protect a bit against copyboters that I see everywhere. It is however jewelry so I don't believe that the self deletion will cause any troubles since it is to be worn anyways.

My last bit of news is that I was accepted to participate in the Shoes and Accessories Hunt (SAH). I already have some ideas for what I will create for it and am looking forward to the hunt starting in mid January. For more information about the hunt please go to the official hunt website here.

LL Xstreet Changes

I am not the first to hear news of things in SL, but I heard about these changes to xstreet. Xstreet will most likely begin charging 99L a month to post freebies, and 10L per month for all items 1L or greater. Also will have at least a 3L commission on all items that cost 1L or more. Got to love the idea of losing money every time someone buys something. These changes to Xstreet will cause me to remove all or the vast majority of items from the site. I have kept 95% of my no transfer items on the service to give people the ability to easily send items as gifts to friends, but sadly I will have to use other means when they make these changes to the service.

I was able to read all about this thanks to two sites, and recommend everyone read up on these changes. The site with the most information was on Shopping Cart Disco, and another article even was posted on Massively.

It will be sad to see how much these changes will impact the SL community. I suspect that a majority of people will be switching to other services like Xstreet that are cheaper to use. Xstreet was able to grow from nothing, and I feel that these other services will be able to do the same now that LL is breaking their service.

Emerald Viewer

I know a lot of people have been using Emerald for a long time, but I just recently gave it a shot. So far I have to say I am enjoying this viewer a lot. The only other viewer I have tried excluding the basic SL viewer was Kirstens. Kirstens does have some nice features, but to me it just isn't good enough to be an everyday feature. Plus the best feature in Kirstens is the ability to render shadows, but that really requires a very high end computer to take advantage of. When I try I get one frame per second if I am lucky.

So I decided to give Emerald a try and it really does have a lot of great features I wouldn't want to go without. It adds so much and performs better at rezing objects and textures than the regular viewer. My personal favorite things it adds are double click teleports, a tab in inventory that shows what is worn, and the ability to turn off the particles for when editing prims. Another good feature it has is that I shows what viewer others are using. This can be good in protecting against those that use viewers that can copybot, and Emerald actually can warn you when one comes near. Lastly just for kicks I will say that Emerald adds breast physics for female avatars.

The website for Emerald has a more detailed list of the added features for Emerald here. So if you want a good performing viewer Emerald might be a good choice. I have heard of a few other viewers that are supposed to be good as well, and plan to give them a try. So far Emerald does seem to be the most popular viewer out. I will update if I find another viewer I enjoy more.

Serenity Necklace

Well here it is another new release, and one that was a pain for me to come up with to finish. I came of with what I felt was a nice necklace design, but had the hardest time trying to figure out what would hang from it. Then it came to me, how about an ornate looking hourglass. So that's what I made here. An hourglass made from fine looking wires and carved wood.

Other elements that make this item stand out are the cords used are much like my Revolt Watch in that they are segmented and linked together by small chains. This new item though is a bit different, because the cords used decrease in diameter as it gets closer to the front with the hourglass. It also has a few parts dangling in the back to show where the necklace would have been tightened to fit around the neck.

This item can be found in SL at Relentless Unknown, and on Xstreet right now. I may also begin remodeling my store in SL very soon, because I tend to get bored of the look very quickly. It is also something i enjoy doing and can be creative with the look of the building. So I will apologize now for any future messes and will update with a new SLurl if I move the current building into the sky a little while I build below.

Xstreet Update

I just went through and updated all my items that are available on Xstreet to the sale prices that are in my store in world. I was going to leave it a special in world sale only, but decided to change my mind. So I updated my Xstreet quite a bit and added more of my items from my store to it. Revolt Watch

It has been a while since I made a watch, so that's what I decided to make for this week. I created a watch that has five bands and detailed chains holding them to each other. I also have chains holding the watch body to three of the straps as well. The clock is able to display the time it is in SL on the watch face, and contains no annoying hover text above it. I never understood why people put that above their watches in SL. I make my watches for looks, and if I want to know the time I'll look at the top right corner of my viewer to see it.

This next picture is to give a few more examples of the detail work used in the watch. In creating this item I used 255 prims, which is just 1 prim away from the maximum amount of prims that can be linked. This item also comes with no mod, copy, no transfer permissions. To allow for the size to be changed though it has a re size scripted system that allows for changes in increments of 1%, 5%, or 10%.

Hope everyone had a great Halloween, and remembered to turn their clocks back an hour for daylight savings time. In honor of daylight savings time though I have an announcement...

Relentless Unknown is having a big sale with everything in the store either 50% or 25% off. The only thing in the store not on sale are my last three releases, which would be the last three prim eyes I created. I would also say over half of the items are in the 50% off category. This sale will last for the entire month, and is the perfect time to pay a visit.

The percentage off of each item is listed in the boxes description to make it easier to see what the savings are. The sale is also only taking place in my store within Second Life, and the prices are not changing on Xstreet, sorry for any problems this might cause. Relentless Unknown SLurl

LED Eyes

In my continued efforts to create new and unique prims eyes I have made these LED eyes. Each of these eyes is 185 prims, and are made up of the LED lights, wires, circuits, wires, and other electrical and moving parts. All of the parts of the eyes are visible within the eye, and create a nice layered look just like I did with my Android Eyes. These new eyes are almost like an evolution of some of the ideas I used in the past. The come with only copy permissions, and to allow for resizing a resize script is included, and even if the eye is hidden inside of the avatars eye they can still easily be resized. This is because of an invisibly prim around the eye that is bigger and allows for easier clicking. Each eye also needs to be resized on its own, this allows for one eye to be a different size than the other if desired.

Now to talk about the main point of these eyes. They allow the LED lights to have different lighting orientations. These different emotes are done by simply saying the commands in open chat. The following two pictures show all the commands and the corresponding LED designs they will produce in the eyes. I really though this was clever and fun to play with.

The eyes also come in eight different color options. I am fond of the green and teal colors personally. I think each color is able to stand out though, and looks great in the eyes.

These eyes are only available in SL right now at my store Relentless Unknown as I have not yet gotten them put up on Xstreet. I just wasn't in the mood to go through the Xstreet menus late last night when I got these up, and instead just went to bed. I'll get to it someday in the future though if I don't get distracted with another build.

Natural Eyes

I made these eyes a little while ago as an experiment. I think they turned out pretty well for trying something new. These are prim eyes that have the iris and pupil inside the eye itself just like a real eye would be. I did this because when you look at an eye the iris isn't just sitting on the outside it is behind the cornea and the lens protected. So I took that idea and played with it to create these.

Eyes come available in seven colors, and the reflections from the environment on the shiny iris is able to stand out nicely. I do wonder if the red color and the pink are a bit too similar though, but better to have similar options rather than no options at all so I kept them. Life is about choices after all.

Glow Eyes Freebie

I have not released any freebies in a while so I made some glowing eyes. These eyes are prim and they put off a nice glow effect while a shine helps make them look a bit more real. I decided not to use Full Bright on these eyes, because it just made the eyes look like flashlights. These come with resize, and color change scripts so that even someone with no mod skills can make them look how they want. I hope they become a popular freebie. They are available in world at my store Relentless Unknown, or on Xstreet.

In other news I have just placed all seven color options of my Android Eyes up on Xstreet. After doing that whole process seven times I remember why I truly hate doing it. I also got my info box with more information and a size example in it put up on Xstreet so that my store isn't the only place for it. I wanted to make sure that nobody would ever feel like i misled them in my items minor shortcomings. To make things easy I am including a list of all the color options with urls to their Xstreet locations.

Android Eyes

I think I have managed to create something new for SL, and that is something that is not often said. These are android eyes that are full prim, and are made up of 80 prims. Inside the eye itself all the workings are visible and can be seen behind the lens. Circuit boards, wires, and even scripted moving parts are all visible behind a lens that comes in seven different color options. Also, because this is all prim work the details all look different depending on how they are viewed. More parts can be seen from every angle as the eye moves to look at things.

I really think this is the first time anyone has ever put parts like this inside the eye itself. I even looked on Xstreet for prim eyes, and everything there just seemed to be the regular eyes we have seen for years now. So I think I have made something new that steps away from just a texture on a prim. These eyes are only available in my store Relentless Unknown.

This is a picture of the seven color options I have come up with. Some of the detail work can also be seen in these picture, but it becomes even more apparent in the last picture. The eyes also have a nice bit of shine to them to make them stand out even more as they move around. I tried it with and without the shine, but with was a lot better to me and truly added another dimension. They truly do stand out in the brighter color, or use grey for a more realistic camera lens look.

This last picture is two of the eyes as sharper angles to help demonstrate the details inside. The little LED lights are visible, as are the wires. A hint of a computer chip is also visible in the right eye with each little prim wire protruding from it, and going into a circuit board.

I made some detailed directions for these in a note card that is given out in my store. Since these are using so many small prims for all the detail the resize script can actually go smaller than some prims can go. I have tested these to 30% smaller than the starting size they were built at and the eyes didn't lose any detail. Some prims moved ever so slightly, but they didn't change the overall look. I should also say the starting size I built them at was also very small, and don't see too many people with eyes smaller than it. I just felt it was best to make sure everyone knows what they truly are getting, and eliminate all surprises. I don't see anyone being disappointed though.

SLurl Issues Fixed

For the past few weeks I had been using my new stores SLurl, and apparently I forgot to save the updated SLurl in my blog. So every time I linked the SLurl I was using an old one that went to where my store used to be. I have now fixed the problem though, and have learned a very valuable lesson. Always save updates to the blog after making them, and maybe double check things too. This is the new SLurl for Relentless Unknown. I apologize for any problems that my mistake might have caused.

In other news, as I post this I am working on finishing up a new item. It is a set of eyes unlike anything else I have seen in SL. Just adding the finishing touches and making the color options now. I am planing on releasing these new eyes tomorrow.

A Girly Skull

I am ever so good with making names for my new items, so this one is amazingly named "Girly Skull" (I decided against the name of "Gurrly Skull"). Well this is a new face tattoo or face painting and looks like a very girly skull. Pink bows naturally make me think girl, so the name does fit. This item comes with the usual two attachment points just in case something is occupying one. It also has mod to make it easy to fit and adjust the size. Like all of my face tattoos this is only available in my store in SL for the time being, and can be reached at the usual SLurl.

Now this next item I know I released yesterday, but at the request of a friend I changed the box picture to make the actual tattoo detail a bit more visible. I also then did the same thing for the Girly Skull box when I made it. This change really does help show what is really being purchased. This also shows how much I appreciate constructive criticism.

I will always do my best to try and paint as best of a picture as possible for my items. I want everyone to know what they are getting when they buy something. Detailed pictures, and good descriptions on the boxes are the best ways I know of to do this.

Slightly Rusty

It has been a while since I have done any building other than the Eye Buttons I made a little over a month ago, so I am working the rust off so to speak. These are two new items I just made over the past two days. Both items are available now, and only in my store at this SLurl.

The first new items is a little face tattoo, or marking made to look like a first class stamp made by using a rubber stamp. This item comes with mod and copy permissions. These permissions allow for the tattoo to be made into any color, and can change the transparency just by using the SL edit tools. This like all my other face tattoos allows for tons of options.

The second new item is a bracelet designed to look like a dogs choke collar flipped backwards. This would make such an item feel more comfortable, and allows it to look a bit more mean with all the spiked sticking out. I have included Mod and Copy permissions so that it can be easily tinted and sized.

Now that I have worked the rust off my brain a bit I should be able to get to work making more new items. Hope to post again very soon.

Yay! I am not lazy

Well I finally have made myself be not as lazy and got a few more items up on Xstreet. Granted it did take me a few months but I did it. I got a majority of my most recent items up except for the tattoos and facial piercings. For those until I get to them they are only available in my store at this SLurl.

This picture is something I did not too long ago, and I kinda liked the mood it gives off. In this picture I am wearing hair by fri.day, tank top from Atomic, and pants from Luck. I hope to do more photos in the future and improve myself as I go, kinda am self taught. Hope you all like it, and I'll get back when I have other updates.

Also I am getting over my WoW addiction, so I may be around more often now.

A Childish Rant...

I don't usually rant about anything to do with SL, because I am foremost a designer and wouldn't appreciate it if people ranted about me. I just have to say one thing that I have noticed in the world of SL. I have a few friends that have child avatars, and through them I have seen something that really upsets me. Many of the stores that sell children's things are poorly done items and over priced.

I have been in a store and saw some glasses for 100L that would have easily only taken 5 minutes to make, and would have only required 5 cube prims. I really feel sorry for those that actually buy from these people, and really think they deserve better. Granted it may be for a child avatar, but they should have the same amount of respect and quality as for any other person. Maybe it is just a lack of people making items for them but you can get high quality adult items that take hours to make for a much cheaper price than most child things.

Lets bring the quality of all items in SL to the same standard, and make every ones experience wthin the world a better one. Again sorry for the rant, I just felt this was something that had to be said. Great job to all those designers that are keeping standards up, and treating customers right.

Eye Buttons and New Store

The first thing I would like to show is a little something I made to try and get back into the design and building spirit. These eye buttons were inspired by the movie Coraline, and are made to look like the evil buttons worn by the other mother. To They are textured to match the movie, and include include a pair of blank blacked out eyes so that even from the side it looks like only empty eye sockets exist. Also behind the buttons frayed string goes back into the head. I took great though into making sure these look as goo as possible from any angle. These attach to the ears to make them easy to adjust, but can be attached to other places if desire.

These are currently for sale only in my new store which just happens to be introduced in this post as well. They cost 45L which is cheaper than a pair or regular eyes.

I am opening up a new store designed to be a nice open warehouse look, with a bit of life growing inside. The tree in the center has grown big enough to reach though the open glass roof. The pool of water in the center also allows for some nice reflections from everything in the building, and the light through the giant windows. I have always wanted to make a store where I had a bit more freedom to do what I wanted, and this is the building I came up with and did under my current size limitations.

Some lower prices

Now that I am back and getting things taken care of I felt it was a good idea to lower the prices on many of my items. This is not just a sale that will end in a week or so. These are changes that will be long lasting, and any sales I do in the future will be a percentage off of these new lower costs. I really hope these prices allow me to be on par or cheaper than some of the designers out there. If I happen to see things similar in quality to mine going for cheaper I will try to change my costs to match.

All in all, I lowered most items but 150L to 50L, with one item even going down by 300L. I would love to hear feedback on this, and recommendations on things that are too expensive and can be found cheaper at other places for about the same thing. I will try my best to please people and keep the prices up to date with the rest of SL. Just reply to the comments section of this post or send me a note card in world. Store is back in SL

Just completed a building, and got everything back up. Been gone from SL for a little over a month so it is good to have a store back up. The location is still next to my friends stores so it isn't too far away from any old SLurls, or LMs that might exist. The new SLurl is now on this blog for easy access. Still have a few tweaks to do to the location, but I just couldn't wait to get this news up for all to read.

The location does have a small second floor that I am not pleased with though, but I had to respect my friends requests about the land so I guess I will have to deal. I just hope it will not interfere with any ones shopping experience. Hope to add a few new items soon now that I am more or less back to SL.

Also want to officially thank Grady Echegaray for including my Syringe Earrings in her photos and blog Strange Pixels. It helped to show me that some people enjoy my work, and pushed me to get something back in SL.

Wow, it has been almost 2 months since my last blog post and new release. Sorry to say I have nothing new to anounce in this post either, but I plan to have some new things planed for the future to be happening in my store. I also no longer have my Ganesha location due to the amount of time I spend in SL being reduced. Now the only place to go to look at my creations is my main store location. Which also gives me less to manage, and I do enjoy being lazy.

More Chain Piercings

Been a busy day for me, and the first time ever that I have done two different posts in the same day. I went to work making new chain piercings right after I did my last post with Chain Piercing Neko, and Chain Piercing Cross. It wasn't just a simple process of just making more sets. Each and everything made also needs to then be positioned on the avatar, and pictures need to be made for the boxes. This all kept me entertained for a little while, and here are the fruits of my labor. These two sets contain mod, copy, no transfer permissions.

The Chain Piercing Classic is different then all the other chain piercing sets I have done so far. I made it without anything hanging from the chain, because some people might prefer something more plain. I also changed the rest of the piercings on the set, such as removing the brow piercings. Mainly I did this for those that think they might not have the skills needed to adjust a set with them, because the brow studs are most likely to be the furthest off due to shape differences.

The Chain Piercing Photo is much like the other two I released earlier. It has a small picture frame hanging from the chain that goes across the lips, and since the set has mod it is possible to put any picture or texture desired into the photo area. This only requires basic building skills, and the photo area is its on prim to make it easier to alter.

Chain Piercings

Just released these two sets of facial piercings. The contain a full prim chain running from the piercings on each side of the lower lip. These sets come with mid, copy, no transfer permissions to help make it as easy and risk free to get them to fit any face shape. Some skill with building and positioning of prims is required to move these small prims, but I have done all I can to make it safe to do so.

The first one it the Neko Chain Piercing. This set has a small cat paw suspended from the chain going across the lips. Paw was made to look like it would be possible to make in RL. The picture below shows all of the piercings included in the set.

The second set contains a small cross dangling from the chain. The cross is not just a simple design, but instead made to look a bit more ornate. With the combination of the shiny and the right angle the design becomes even more visible.

Both of these sets are available at my two store locations right now. I have also added five more items to show up on my display system at the main store. I always have more ideas for things to create so please check back soon to see what is new.

Item Display System

I have just added a way to see some of the items in a way other than just looking at the pictures on the walls. I have a display table in the middle of the store that will rez the object on the wall when a small button that says "Display" on it is pressed. The picture below shows my Cogs of Fate Staff rezed on the table. Currently I have only three items set up to display like this, but I will continue to set up more in the next few days in between my other projects.

The three items that will display so far are the Cogs of Fate Staff, Bangle, and Lock and Chains. This system is also only at my main store location. It is my hope that a system such as this will help remove the fear of purchasing something, and wondering if whats on the box is what is received. I never modify any of the pictures on my boxes to change to look of any of my item, but this is an added way for people to see what they really look like in 3D. If you can see something in person, and try on a pair of clothes before buying it in RL, why not make it possible in SL. I hope what I have done will be a bit to start this trend throughout SL.

I used the Retail Holodeck to set this up, and I also used it in the past to make a custom looking vending machine. Neck Time

In the past I said I was going to try to make some things based on the anime Bleach. This is not based on the anime, but it is inspired partly by it. One of the characters had a necklace that went through a loop in the same way as this item. I have just made the chains bigger, and added a small clock to the end. I have been wanting to make a necklace or choker with clock on it for a long time since I made my first watch, and with this I finally have done it.

I have included Mod, No Copy, and Transfer permissions to allow for some customization. The clock on the end also works and keeps track of the time in SL. Overall I think it is a unique item unlike anything else, and is now for sale at both of my store locations.

Only 1 Linden

I was sitting here thinking about something to do, and considered that I have no freebie items in my store. So I looked back and found nine things that I used to sell, but were now just taking up room in my inventory. These are all high quality items from chokers to boots. They are only available at my main store, and are located on a wall with a sign indicating that they are only 1 linden. The sign will look much like the one below, but without the dotted background. Each item on the 1 linden wall has mod, copy, and no transfer.

I hope you all enjoy the benefit of my spring cleaning. I just figured it is better to give give them away rather then letting them just collect dust in my inventory. The SLurl bellow leads to the main store that has the wall of 1 linden items. My Ganesha location doesn't have enough room for me to put such a wall in it.

On top of adding the 1 linden wall I have also rebuilt the entire store. My friends remodeled the land, and I had to move the store to fit into the new layout. It is basically in the same spot as the old version, just raised off the ground by about a meter. I have updated all the SLurls on the blog to make sure that it will not lead anywhere under the floor. The new layout has much more room to let me expand, and is easy to see everything easily without looking on multiple floors.

Bankai Butterfly

Been busy, and have not gotten around to being able to make anything really new. I blame an addiction to watching a lot of Bleach where this facial tattoo came from. It's based on the picture bellow of Yoruichi. The marking appeared on Yoruichi after being struck by Soi Fong's Bankai. I was able to make this, and actually show it in higher detail then the original as seen in the anime. It comes with mod, copy, no transfer, and is able to be tinted to any color desired. I currently have it placed at both of my store locations.

I already have other ideas for things based on Bleach, and a few other animes. Nothing really crazy, but instead nice looking items that would be perfect for any situation. I just need to get back to work and start creating. Hope to post again soon.

My first hunt

I am participating in my first hunt. I would have loved to do more hunts in the past though, but I am always out of the loop and never know about them. I guess I am just not one of the popular kids. At least I am in this one and that's all that matters for now. The hunt is taking place on the Ganesha sim where I have one of my stores.

I suppose I can let everyone that reads this know what I have hidden away in my egg. I have included in the hunt a pair of earrings that will only be out for the two weeks of the hunt. I will also include this picture to make them even easier to find, even though they are not hidden very well. That's all I am saying though to show a picture of the earrings would ruin the surprise. Manga Blood Tattoo

I have done many tattoos in the past, but none of my past work has been full body. This was my first attempt at making a tattoo that covers parts of the upper and lower body. This tattoo is made too look like the blood that would be splattered on a character from an anime or manga. The shading used has a nice cross hatching look just like the way shading is done in anime. This item also has mod, copy, and no transfer permissions. The mod in many cases with tattoos doesn't really matter, but I have made this one completely tintable for unlimited color options. With being tintable, and the manga style of the blood splatters this tattoo is able to stand out amongst other blood tattoos.

I also am currently working on another full body tattoo unlike anything in SL. I could release it now if I wanted and nobody would probably complain, but it still has a few shading issues that I need to fix. Looks great in pictures, but once actually on the avatars body something bugs me. So until it is perfect I will not put it for sale. Hope to post again soon with some more releases.

More facial piercings

Last night around 2 am I put out these three sets of facial piercings. So now that I am actually awake I can make this post for them. For some of these I added a brow piercing too the sets too. My main goal is still to make the sets look good without taking too much away from the rest of the face. New facial piercings

I have just put out these three sets of facial piercings. Each set comes with mod, copy, no transfer permissions. I have included these permissions to make for easy and risk free fitting to any shape of head. The piercings are also highly detailed and each set contains over 20 prims. One thing that I feel makes these sets stand out is not just the detail included, but also that they do not have a whole lot of piercings. Too often people are walking around with too many piercings on their face. When that happens it just looks bad, and takes away from the rest of the facial features.

These sets are available in both of my store locations right now. They can be found sitting on the tables located in the center of each location along with a small sign showing off even more of the detail included. New main store

I finally got around to building myself a new main store. It has more floor space then the old one, but maybe a bit less wall space. A few tables on the floor will solve that problem though. This store will also allow me more room to put all new items that I make in the future without constantly rearranging the items already out and on the walls.

In building this store I wanted to go for something that still nice yet partially destroyed. The tiled section in the middle also coincidentally looks like a neko, because i didn't like how it was lopsided at first. As I was adjusting my gf saw a cat head and got excited so it stayed that way. She also said one thing I did made it look like a bow on the ear, but I made her sad when I wouldn't keep it that way. Facial Tattoos

I have made many types of tattoos in the past, and these are my first attempts at facial tattoos. I believe they turned out amazingly well. They also come with mod, copy, and no transfer permissions. The tattoos also are fully tintable for unlimited color options, and can also change the transparency to make them look as good as possible. With the mod permissions they will be able to adjusted to fit any facial shape. These are hopefully only the first of many that I will make.

Syringe Earings

In the past I released a detailed belly piercing that looked like a skeleton key. Ever since that I have had a friend tell me to make some earrings. After trying to think of what would look different and still stick with my usual style I came up with these. A pair of earrings made to look like antique syringes. I am also giving these with mod and copy so that anyone can change the colors and textures to whatever they like.

I have a few more new things just about ready for sale, and they are unlike anything I have ever made in the past. Check back to see what they are in a few days.

New store in Ganesha

I have had a small store in Ganesha for a month now, but have just moved to a new spot on the sim. I have one of spots right next to the telehub. It is an amazing spot, shares Boof and Paper Street Soap Co. on the intersection. Still doing a little bit of work on the store look, but for the most part it is all done. I also feel I did a good job making the store spot feel more like my own. Got to love the Jurassic Park looking entrance. This spot will contain every item have available, so everyone will be able to choose which store they would like to shop from.

A chained watch and new ring

Today I have released two new items. A new watch that is unlike any other watch I have seen on SL, and a new ring that uses a spiraling wire instead of a gem. The Watch has working hands that will match the time that is shown on SL. When thinking of how a watch would work in RL if it had a chain such as this I decided to include a cloth piece that would make such a watch more comfortable. This cloth also adds a bit more of a layered look to the entire piece. In the coming days I also hope to include this was style into a necklace as well.

In my continuing efforts to make unique fine jewelry I have created this ring. I have stated in the past that so many rings in SL just rely on large diamonds and lots of bling to stand out. So with this ring I have used a spiraling metal wire weave in and out of itself to created a look of a metal gem.

All these items are available at my main store in world. I hope to get a few of these up on slx very soon as well, but as of this post they are not.

I wanted to let people know of a mall sim that is owned by a friend of mine. The sim is Ganesha and has a wide variety of items and stores on it. The sim is an urban style, and that's what it caters to mostly, but anyone can rent there. Some of the greatest things about the sim is it is basically a city to shop, and just shop no real extra things added to take away from shopping. I also have a small store front rented there (which I really need to update, been busy). Can't lose too much for seeing what they have, and might even be able to find a place to set up shop yourself.

First watch

Last night at around 2am I completed my first watch, and have just put it out for sale in my main store. I also have 2 more designs that are partially completed. One is more my normal style of more punk, and my other one is silver and shiny. Hopefully I will be able to complete these soon, and get them put out for sale as well. This watch will start things off for me though, and was a nice change of pace. This watch and all my other creations can be found at this SLurl.

My first fine jewelry

I will admit that I am not a someone that uses a lot of jewelry, or follows with the latest trends. I still think I have made two very nice and unique rings that are both simple, but very advanced in design. I wanted to go got something that just was not about the big diamond, and to let the style and shape of the bands be the true star. With all of that in mind I created these two rings. Each ring comes with both no bling and a subtle bling, nothing too blinding or bright. In determining the amount of bling to use I did some research and found a topic on another website that listed most everyone preferring no bling at all, or just a small amount only. I hope that what I provide will be able to please everyone.

The Fine Wire ring has a curved band with some fine wire along it curing the other direction. This ring hardly contains any diamonds, but the band shape is unlike any i was able to find when I looked through slx after I created it. The second ring I created was the Modern Ring. The Modern Ring was actually my first attempt with fine jewelry, and provided me with a great learning experience. It has a thinner band than the Fine Wire ring, and contains a few larger diamonds. I have included descriptions for each ring on the pictures for them, and have made my 3rd picture to show how small one of these rings is able to be scaled down to. The picture compares them with a 0.01 square meter cube. I doubt that a ring that small would even fit on the smallest of hands, but it is still an option, and shows how hard I work on the smallest of detail.

I have also made a small variation of the Lock and Kay choker I released a few days ago. This Padlock and key is the same as the other, but with a different lock style. This lock looks more like a traditional padlock, and has a very heavy design to it. Just wanted to give people the option if they wanted a lock of a different style.

All of these items are available in my main store at this SLurl. I plan to get them added to slx very soon, but for the time being they are only available in world. On a closing note I wanted so share something that amused me, and was a first for me. I show up in google! I searched my stores name "Relentless Unknown," and the top 3 google results were all related to my store. Also as of now, I think that my next project and building attempt will be a fine watch. Now to see if I can pull it off.

Lock and Key Release

My newest creation, and admitedly a variation on my Lock and Chains Choker I released a few weeks ago. This design has a chain choker with an ornate lock on it, and a thin beaded necklace that holds the key to the lock. These Two necklaces combine and form a nice layered look around the neck. I have included three pictures to help show some of the detail work I have added. The top picture is the picture as seen on the box, and the following two are to help give a more close up view. This item is currently available as of today at my store Relentless Unknown.

I have also begun trying to make some fine jewelry, and hope to release some of my work in that are very soon. I will continue to update as I release new item for sale.

A new bangle...

At least I think it could be considered a type of bangle, if not it still works as a good name for it. I just completed this set of bangles. They include come checkered cloth with some chains, barbed wire, and some attractive beads. Included is a size change script to allow them to be made to fit anyone and a color script to change the color of the checkered cloth. I feel that the pictures can speak for themselves at the amount of small detail work included. These bangles are now available at my store inworld located here, and on my slx page located here. If for some reason those links do not work you should be able to do a search in places for my store name "Relentless unknown" or for me "Night Fox" and it can be found in my first pic. I hope to release another new item very soon within a week.

This following picture is just something I did for fun in an attempt to try to be artistic. I think I managed to pull it off in the end though. A few additions

I have been looking into doing some pictures for others within the world of SL. With this I have created both a flickr and Photobucket account in order to display my work with the permission of the person in the picture. I have added links to these sites with the pictures in the links section of this blog along with a link to my items on the Xstreet SL website. These changes will allow this blog to be a future hub for all my work and projects from this moment on.

I have also completed a new item that will be added to my store in world and on the Xstreet website as soon as i get the graphics for the box completed. I will probably finish those once I complete a second item to release alongside of it. It shouldn't be long before I have these completed and ready for sale. In the mean time I plan to continue to work on some pictures for family and friends while I consider doing it more widely within SL.

Sometimes I like to do pctures for profiles or just for fun. I have only done these for close friends, but I think they are pretty good and wanted to share 3 of my favorites. I love to try and make a nice looking picture that is both a little stylized and realistic. I might have to try and make some more soon, not sure they are good enough to sell or do custome pictures for though. Hope everyone likes them and comment if you like and give me some feed back.

My Store Relentless Unknown

I am known as Night Fox in the world of Second life, and I have a store called Relentless Unknown. I have been building within the world of SL for a very long time and have gotten very good at making detailed accessories. I go into so much detail that if something has barbed wire on it it the barbs will be the same as the real thing with all 4 points that are actually points, and made out of two pieces of coiled wire. This detail caries over for every item i make. I have one small location within SL, and have some items on xStreet Sl.
